Imagine your father buying a parcel of land on the edge of a small Hill Country community in the early 50s. Your grandparents pitched a tent with a wooden floor, built a dairy barn, and made a living in the dairy business.

Somewhere along the way the milking room and milk storage rooms were stripped to the original thick cinder block walls and converted into a kitchen and bedroom. A living room and second bedroom eventually took shape, and at some point the whole structure found itself housing a veterinary clinic.

Since 1974, when you bought the place, the following have found their way into the mix: Large utility room, hallway and bathroom, jacuzzi room, and wonderful sun room. 1997 saw a major remodel of the entire structure, and in 2000 the existing bathroom was completely redone.

Tile and wood floors are prevalent throughout the home.
