For over 50 years, I have been the place my family gathers to relax and renew their spirits. 

I have watched as the children, and now grandchildren, have hiked and explored my secluded valleys; valleys filled with a variety of hardwoods, native grasses, and quiet leftover pools of water.  Pools that frequently tumble with excitement as a Hill Country rain waters the land. 

I have watched my family and their many friends climb atop my highest point, a plateau that rises to an elevation of 1474 feet, a full 214 feet higher than those quiet valley pools below. 

On that plateau they stand in awe, as they slowly turn and take in an unobstructed 360-degree view of miles and miles of God’s beautiful Hill Country creation.  I cannot count the number of times they have shown up there early to watch...
